Sephora Haul

I don’t think anything makes me happier than that beautiful black and white bag from Sephora. I first got to go to make up heaven when I was in Paris last year. It was incredible, but hard because I don’t speak the language. I grabbed only one or two things when I was there, so I was extremely excited when I found out I was going to America. I went on their website far too many times to figure out exactly what I was going to buy, if you ever have a couple hours to waste I recommend going on the Sephora website, there is so much to drool over it’s ridiculous.

When I arrived in New York, I found a Sephora within about 2 hours of arriving. I stumbled onto about 6 or 7 throughout the couple of days I was there, and the Boyf started getting pretty annoyed at me having to go and have a look in every single one. But he can suck it up cause it was my birthday and I can do whatever I want. Cue cheesy grin. So without further adieu, here is my Sephora goodies!

First up! Nars Sheer Glow Foundation and the Foundation Pump

Nars Sheer Glow Foundation in ‘Deauville’

Hi, I’m Cassie and I adore Nars. The only problem with this is that it’s ridiculously overpriced in Australia. This little baby would cost you $68 AUD from Mecca Cosmetica, and while that isnt the most I’ve spent on a foundation before (I’m talking to you Chanel VitalumiereΒ Aqua) It is still pretty expensive. I first grabbed this from Sephora in Paris, where I got matched to this colour and it is pretty perfect. While I find most foundations are too orange on my skin, this baby is the perfect yellow toned foundation for moi. It gives a perfect medium coverage, I don’t like full coverage. And to be honest with you, It’s just super pretty, both on the skin and in its little pretty container. The only downside is that is doesn’t come with a pump, but I bought one anyway as they make life ten times easier.

Next, Benefit’s How To Look The Best At Everything

So there is a story to this one. I’ve been wanting to try Benefit’s The Porefessional for quite some time, I’ve never had a terribly good primer, and this one is always recommended. Now at Sephora it was $30 for the full sized product, however I spotted this little book of smaller sized products and I ended up grabbing this one instead for the same price, just incase I hated The Porefessional it wouldn’t be a waste of money. Spoiler alert: I love it.
It comes with
  • The Porefessional
  • Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Brightening Makeup
  • Boi-ing concealer in number 1 & 2
  • Hello Flawless Powder & Brush
It’s so perfect for travelling, and I will definitely do a tutorial and review on all these products in the book soon.
Finally from Sephora, the one and only, Urban Decay’s Naked 3 Palette
my preciousssss
Having owned the Naked 2 palette for a while now, and absolutely coveting the Naked Basics palette (which I use every single day, little fun fact for you) I was pretty damn excited when I heard that Naked 3 was coming out. This time around the palette comes with rose and pink hued eyeshadows, as well as the same ‘Crease and Shadow brush’ that came with Naked 2, and 4 samples of their primer potion, which comes in Original, Eden, Sin and Anti Ageing. I got this baby for $52 which transfers to around $60-$65 AUD, which was a pretty good bargain, seeing as it costs around $80AUD online as well as shipping costs. I will swatch all the shadows and do a in depth review once I’ve gotten the chance to play around with it a bit more, and maybe do a tutorial on a couple of looks with these beauty of a palette.
So thats my Sephora haul, Have any of you had the pleasure of visiting Sephora? and more importantly what is on your Sephora wish list?
Some more hauls from the States coming soon!
