Contrary to popular belief, I am not 80 years old. In fact today was my Grandmother’s 80th Birthday Party, and we had a ball. She is an incredible woman, caring for her husband of 60(!!!!) years, as well as her four children and seven grandchildren. I can honestly say that I want to be like her when I grow up, because she is an absolute hero of mine. As I dolled myself up for the occasion at the St George Motor Boat Club, I thought I would do a little face of the day/outfit of the day for you my beautiful little readers.
For my make up, I was pretty rushed so didn’t get to do exactly what I wanted, but in the end I think it was appropriate for a luncheon and I felt pretty, and really when it comes down to it if you feel pretty then who cares what anyone else thinks.
On my face is:
- Benefit’s Porefessional
- Mac Studio Fix Foundation
- Nars Blush in Deep Throat
- Benefit Hoola Bronzer
- Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Transluscent
On my eyes:
- Elf Eyebrow Kit in Medium
- MAC Paint Pot in Painterly
- Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette using the colours ‘Limit’, ‘Nooner’ and ‘Liar’
- Maybelline The Falsies Volum’ Express Mascara in Black Drama
And then I did have a lipstick on, Tarte’s Amazonian Butter Lipstick in Watermelon, but by the time this photo was taken I just had a swipe of lip balm on.

Caught in the ‘selfie’ moment with my cousin, Georgina.
The cake was the ‘White Chocolate Mud Cake” from the Patisserie New York in Caringbah, Website and details are here. I added the purple flowers though.
Also shout out to my cousins Kristen, Olivia and Georgina and my Aunty Linzi who have all been secretly looking at my blog and told me today that they had seen it. Hi Guys! Comment and let me know if you see this!
