My Overnight Makeup Bag

So I recently spent a lovely night with my Boyfriend in the city. Going away always reveals the products you can’t live without so I thought I’d grab some photos in the hotel bathroom and show you my overnight makeup bag and all the things I can’t live without.

First up, my face products! Lush’s Skin Drink goes everywhere with me. Winter has made my skin dry and flaky, which is quickly fixed with a swipe of this bad boy! It has the funkiest smell though, I can’t figure out what it smells like, all I know is it’s not my favourite smell…

Sticking with the priming the skin theme, I’ve recently been using Stila Hydrating Primer. I can’t tell if it’s doing any good whatsoever, but I love to prime. I actually really need to invest in a new primer, so if anyone knows any good ones do let me know!

For my actual face make up, I stuck with my usual combo. Nars Sheer Glow Foundation in Deauville, MAC Blot Powder and Benefit Hoola Bronzer. You all know how much I love these products, and I’m anxiously awaiting my new Hoola to arrive in the mail! Along with lots of other Benefit Goodies! Don’t worry, I will definitely be doing a haul post :).

I also grabbed Benefit Fake Up Concealer, which I have a love/hate relationship with, but am loving at the moment. I didn’t pack any blush as I thought the winter winds would flush my face plenty.

Now for my eyes! I packed my well loved ELF Eyebrow Kit in Medium. I don’t know what I’d ever do without it. I also brought with me Nutrimetics Liquid Eyeliner, Nutrimetics Crayon Eyeliner and Clinique High Impact Mascara.

Now realistically I could have just taken the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette and left it at that, but I felt like bringing the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette along as well, as I felt like some romantic pink colours.

IMG_1078For brushes I kept it super simple, Real Techniques Powder Brush and Expert Face Brush. Both Holy Grail brushes and loves of my life. Next up a Natio Powder Brush that I love to use with Hoola to shape my face. Then MAC 266 for killer brows, MAC 217 for blending, Real Techniques Lash Brow Groomer, Nutrimetics Eyeshadow Brush and Real Techniques Deluxe Crease Brush.

And thats it! The Boyf and I stayed at the Quay West Sydney in the Rocks, which was unbelievably beautiful. We had a little kitchen so the Boyf cooked my favourite pasta dish of his that he is so so good at cooking. We spent the night watching Kath and Kim in bed eating pasta. Does life get any better then that? I don’t think so!

Until next time!
