Blogmas Day 7 – A Christmas Look

So you’re lying around at home, it’s starting to get dark. You haven’t put a stitch of makeup on all day when you get a text from one of your friends. “Going Christmas Light looking, picking you up in 15”. You look in the mirror and realise this just won’t do, so here is how you get festive ready in 15 minutes.

First up you need to even out your skin. I used MAC Strobe Cream and then Lioele Triple The Solution BB Cream on top. Both even out my skin and bring glow to it, without it feeling like a mask. Next up I’ve used a little a little duo from Sephora that I picked up in Paris that come with a blush and bronzer. I’ve used it super lightly to avoid any mistakes. I powdered all over the top with MAC Blot Powder and then highlighted with Incandescent Light from the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Wardrobe.

When you’re in a rush, it’s best to keep it simple. Don’t go for a complicated winged liner cause that will only end in you having wonky eyes when you’re friends rock up. I’ve simply used Stila eyeshadow in ‘Kitten’ all over the lid and a crap tonne of Covergirl Lash Blast Volume Mascara.

The easiest way to look done up is to do your brows. It frames the face and fakes effort into your look so make sure to do this step! I’ve used ELF eyebrow kit in medium. To finish the makeup I’ve done a swipe of Tarte’s Amazonian Butter Lipstick in Poppy.

Chances are you’ve also had your hair in a bun on the top of your head all day, so simply make it into a pony tail and add a festive red ribbon and your done!

There you go! You’re ready to feel all warm and fuzzy looking at pretty Christmas lights. I hope you enjoyed this look! And here is all the products I used.

Do you go Christmas light looking? Are you as in love with it as I am?

Much Love,
