Christmas is certainly different in the Southern Hemisphere. It’s normally spent in the pool or lounging in front of the air conditioning. My favourite thing about Christmas in Sydney is probably that it is just so different than the traditional Christmas. And to be honest I just really like the way we do Christmas. It’s stressful yes, I spend most of my day in the car going from different sides of the family to the other, but I really do enjoy Christmas. And a warm Christmas at that.
The plan is to spend next Christmas in London, which I’m really excited about as it’ll be my first winter Christmas. But I do love our hot Christmases, and the mix between pudding, turkey and seafood that my family tends to do all within a day.
What’s your favourite thing about Christmas where you live? Let me know!
