So over the past weekend I was in Melbourne for my anniversary with my Boyfriend. Conveniently, Sephora also decided to open over this weekend!
As it opened on the Saturday with huge lines and queues, I thought I best to avoid the place till late on Sunday hoping that it would be a little quieter by then. We arrived around 6:30 on the Sunday night and had to wait in line for a few minutes before being let in. To be honest the line was a great idea, because we could actually walk around the store rather than struggling to walk around. It was still packed at this time, despite it closing in half an hour, but the girls were all still on their A-game, helping out if needed and running around after everyone.
I walked around for ages trying to decide what I wanted to get, which you can expect the Boyfriend loved (wink wink). I mainly leaned more towards tools and stuff I couldn’t get normally. As much as I wanted a new eyeshadow palette, I simply can’t justify buying a new one right now as I have SO MANY! As I picked up a few things a lady was walking around handing out goodie bags, including one to me and one to my Boyfriend, with her saying “So basically you get two” which I wasn’t complaining about!
We headed to the register with my things and then headed out to dinner that night!
Here’s a photo of my haul! I bought:
- Zoeva Classic 8 piece brush set
- Zoeva 234 Brush
- It Cosmetics Tightline Mascara Deluxe Size
- It Cosmetics Hello Lashes Mascara Deluxe Size
- Beauty Blender
For buying two Zoeva products I also got a free concealer brush!
Here’s what was in the goodie bag too! So much stuff and so many snacks!!!
All in all I thought it was a great opening, and my experience was great! I’m excited to try everything and let you know what I think!
